Acceptance of These Terms
These terms form an agreement between you and GEYE INNOVATION FOUNDATION, doing business as GREENEYE®, a non-profit organisation based in Jaipur, India. By using our website at https://greeneye.foundation, our API or the GreenEye mobile application, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the services.
These terms are published in English. Section headings are translated for convenience; the English text governs.
Tree Gifts and Adoptions Are Donations
When you gift or adopt a tree, you are making a donation to a non-profit. Your contribution funds the planting and ongoing care of a tree on land held by GreenEye. You are not acquiring a digital item, and no tree, land, timber or other property is transferred to you.
The certificate and the tracking page we provide are free acknowledgements of your donation. They record that a tree was planted and let you follow how it is doing. They confer no ownership, tenancy or commercial right over the tree or the land it grows on.
The amount shown at checkout is the amount of your contribution to GreenEye. Where you give a tree to someone else, the donation is still made by you, and the acknowledgement is issued in the name you supply.
The Nursery Shop
Separately from donations, our nursery shop sells physical plants that we deliver to you. Items in the shop are goods, and the amounts shown against them are prices for those goods.
Shop orders can be paid through PayU or by cash on delivery, and are dispatched to the shipping address you give us at checkout. Please make sure that address and phone number are correct, because we cannot redirect a dispatched consignment.

Refunds and Cancellations
A contribution is deployed as soon as a tree is allocated or planted, so donations and tree gifts are generally non-refundable once that has happened. If something has gone wrong with your contribution, write to [email protected] and we will look into it.
Nursery shop orders are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. /legal/cancellations-refunds
Where a refund is approved, it is returned through the same payment gateway that was used originally, to the same instrument. We keep a record of each refund request, its amount and its status as part of our financial records.
Accounts and Acceptable Use
If you create an account, give us accurate information, keep your password confidential, and use one account per person. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
You agree not to scrape or bulk-download the website or the API; not to attempt to reach another person’s account, tree records or orders; not to upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory or infringing content; and not to interfere with or overload the website, the API or the mobile application.
Your Responsibilities When Giving a Tree to Someone
When you enter a recipient’s name, email address, phone number or WhatsApp number, you confirm that you are entitled to share those details with us so that we can deliver the gift and send updates about the tree. Content Ownership
All content on this website and in the mobile application, including text, images, logos and the GREENEYE® mark, belongs to GreenEye unless stated otherwise. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
Trees Are Living Things
We commit to planting the trees your contributions fund, caring for them, and reporting on them honestly — including when a tree does not survive. Trees are living organisms affected by weather, disease, animals and human interference, so we cannot guarantee that any individual tree will survive. Where a tree fails early we will replace it wherever that is practicable, and the tracking record will show what happened.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, the website, the API and the mobile application are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. The current version is always published on this page with a revised last-updated date, and continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
