Main programmes

• Climate Smart Agriculture: 31.70 lakh acres, 100 districts in 19 states, about 12 lakh farmers (cumulative programme coverage)
• Water Stewardship: watershed area up 1.78 lakh acres in year (cumulative 18.16 lakh acres); new partnerships with Maharashtra Water Resources Dept (60 irrigation projects, 20 districts), Karnataka RDPR (South Pennar basin) and Rajasthan Watershed Dept (22 gram panchayats, 44,000 acres)
• Women empowerment: over 2.67 lakh poor women reached in year (cumulative 4.51 lakh); Targeting Hardcore Poor cumulative about 40,680 women
• Primary education in 50 districts of 15 states: 6.57 lakh children in year; Andhra Pradesh Anganwadi capacity partnership for over 55,600 Anganwadi Sevikas in 26 districts
• Skilling: 15,600 youth trained in 34 districts of 16 states in year (cumulative about 1.27 lakh)
• Mother and child health and nutrition: about 15.24 lakh people in 21 districts of 9 states
• Sanitation and hygiene: school hand-hygiene programme covered 16,770 schools and about 32 lakh children; sanitation in 30 districts of 13 states
• Livestock: dairy support to about 38,000 animals of over 19,000 farmers in 416 villages (Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand)

Trees and greening

• Social Forestry: over 37,300 acres in year; 16 districts in 6 states; cumulative 5.28 lakh acres, 7,400+ villages, 1.90 lakh households (Social plus Farm Forestry cumulative about 13.2 lakh acres); fruit and commercial species plantations over 40,000 acres to date
• Biodiversity (village commons restoration and native-species tree planting): over 1.76 lakh acres in year, 40 districts in 10 states; cumulative 6.47 lakh acres
• Mangroves conservation in Andhra Pradesh: another 1,000 acres in year (cumulative 1,500 acres); 9,200 turtle eggs hatched and released
• Soil and moisture conservation and tree plantation by Maharashtra Forest Department (Pune district) after ITC training: over 11,000 acres (cumulative figure as reported)
